BC Nurses Union strengthens PMO with Appnovation through weekly mentoring and portfolio reviews

The BC Nurses Union (BCNU) needed to mature its Project Management Office (PMO) and improve project delivery after losing its senior operational project manager. They engaged the vendor Appnovation for guidance to establish processes and mentor their junior PM staff.

Appnovation conducted discovery sessions and developed a visual PM Map and a portfolio dashboard to improve project oversight and governance. They also provided one-on-one mentoring to enhance the skills of junior PMs. As a result, Appnovation established a structured, scalable PMO framework and supported BCNU in recruiting a new Senior PM for a seamless leadership transition.
