Tastypill, a mobile game publisher with 500 million downloads, needed a faster way to create high-quality creatives to compete in the hyper-casual market and launch games that could reach the top of the App Store. They partnered with AppLovin’s SparkLabs to help develop high-performing video and playable ads without slowing down their internal team.
AppLovin’s SparkLabs quickly built and iterated on a range of playable and video creatives, helping Tastypill test what worked best during soft launches and optimize for marketability. The results were strong: Bottle Flip 3D and Sling Drift both reached No. 1 on the App Store, while Bottle Flip 3D saw a 40% decrease in CPI and a 79% increase in IPM.
