Clootrack, a U.S.-based Customer Experience and Conversation Analytics company, needed to keep confidential voice-call and customer data secure and encrypted while meeting NIST-related compliance requirements. As it served organizations in finance and banking, it wanted a stronger cloud security posture for its Google Cloud (GCP) environment, including a way to simulate attacker behavior and test its defenses. AppKnox provided a Cloud Security Audit to help Clootrack validate its cloud security controls.

AppKnox simulated malicious environments, assessed Clootrack’s cloud against CIS and OWASP-based checks, and used CVSS-based risk scoring to prioritize findings. The assessment uncovered key issues, and Clootrack says it fixed all critical and high-risk vulnerabilities in less than 3 days. Results showed 93.44% passed, with 0.8% critical, 4.16% high, and 1.6% medium findings, while AppKnox helped Clootrack achieve 100% CIS benchmark coverage, stronger intrusion detection, near real-time threat detection, and greater customer trust.
