Gymnasium Beekvliet, a Dutch grammar school, needed a better way to manage a complex IT environment with multiple PC types, operating systems, and school-specific software. Their manual image-based approach was time-consuming, error-prone, and caused reliability issues during critical moments like CITO exam reviews. Vendor Appixoft, through its Scense Workspace Management solution, was brought in to help modernize desktop and application delivery.

Appixoft implemented Scense Workspace Management to create a unified, centralized IT setup with one base image and a Scense client that delivers applications at the right time, including support for non-domain computers. The result was greater reliability, more flexibility for students and teachers, and the ability to support student laptops in the future; the school also reduced image-management complexity and was able to consolidate two domains into one without issues.
