Deltion College, a large Dutch education provider serving over 17,000 students and employees across multiple campuses, needed a way to support a constantly changing mix of devices, users, and locations. With a small IT team, the college struggled to deliver the right applications and personalized workspaces to thousands of computers and increasingly to student-owned laptops. Appixoft implemented Scense to make the workspace independent of devices and to deliver applications dynamically to any user on any device. The result was a more flexible and secure IT environment, a 50% reduction in helpdesk calls, and a major simplification of desktop migration to Windows 7. Deltion College also reduced its application count from 1,700 to 400 and reported higher efficiency, higher availability, and more value from the same IT team.
