Quds Bank - Customer Case Study

Quds Bank, founded in Ramallah in 1995, is a leading Palestinian retail and corporate bank focused on relationship-building, simplicity, efficiency and convenience. In 2020 the bank faced mounting pressure to modernize after COVID-19 exposed costly, time-consuming manual processes and fragmented legacy systems—no dynamic workflow, poor integrations, frequent manual errors, and slow loan approvals—hindering service quality and operational agility.

Quds Bank selected the Appian Low‑Code Platform (with Appian RPA) to centralize and automate operations, launching its first app in one month and going live with 33 applications in 18 months. The solution cut loan approval time from up to 10 days to as little as four hours and reduced manual loan data‑entry from one hour to seven minutes—saving an estimated 17–26 person‑hours per day—while delivering full BPM, better data quality, less paperwork, faster processing, and improved customer service.
