Pirelli Tyre, a global leader in premium and performance tires with 21 factories across five continents, sought to modernize its IT to match its high-performance reputation. Senior management and the CIO mandated a move from traditional, pull-based systems to a proactive, event-driven architecture that would push timely information and actions to users, closing information gaps and speeding decision-making.

Pirelli selected the Appian BPM platform and worked with partner Easynex to roll out applications across sales, production, quality, vendor management and SAP-integrated processes (notably Mould Management and the “Decomplexity” solution). The deployments accelerated customer-requested changes, reduced rework and production losses, improved process visibility beyond ad hoc email flows, and enabled Pirelli to build an internal BPM Center of Excellence to scale the program efficiently.
