Ligue Nationale de Rugby (LNR), the organization that manages professional rugby in France, needed to modernize and simplify its IT system, improve user experience, and reduce the high supervision burden on its small three-person IT team. It turned to Appian’s low-code application platform, working with Appian partner Solypse, to create a more intuitive, scalable solution for game-day and competition management.

Appian and Solypse implemented ELLIS, a 360º platform for managing calendars, teams, sanctions, rankings, reports, and more, with mobile/tablet access, monitoring, integrations, and automatic PDF generation. The new system supports about 160 users and 450 matches per year, and it reduced one legal department task from two hours to less than 20 minutes, saving 24% of time per week on that process alone.
