Telpark, a leading parking and mobility operator in Spain, Portugal, Andorra and Turkey with over 419,000 spaces and 1,900 employees, faced a costly reconciliation bottleneck: daily high-volume, low-value payments produced thousands of transactions (up to 25,000 records at peak) that had to be manually matched to bank movements, leaving little time for analysis and no off-the-shelf solution met their needs.
Working with Deloitte and using the Appian low-code platform, Telpark automated reconciliation with RPA-driven robots (FER-16 to extract and propose matches, FER-17 to post approved items) combined with human review. Deployed in three months, the solution now processes about 300,000 items annually, automates ~70% of cases via ~2,300 business rules, and frees finance staff to focus on the remaining 30% and on root-cause analysis, improving speed, visibility and month-end close.
