Garsa (Gestores Administrativos Reunidos) is a 40+-year-old BPO serving banking, mortgage and real estate clients across 25 offices in Spain with 800+ employees and more than 1 million customers. It faced a heavy volume of mortgage, credit, tax and other administrative transactions that require connecting multiple external systems, and the COVID-19 crisis produced surges (notably moratorium requests) that strained manual workflows and customer experience.
Garsa adopted Appian’s low-code automation and RPA to centralize orchestration, automate document processing, communications and routine application management, and deploy solutions in about four weeks. The platform enabled humans and bots to work together, handled moratorium and administrative workflows, processed over 50,000 items per month, reduced errors, raised service levels, and delivered monthly savings of €1,500–30,000 depending on volume, with plans to expand automation and intelligent document processing.
