The Département des Yvelines, the council for the Versailles region with more than 4,000 employees serving 1.4 million citizens, launched the YSIS transformation program to expand and improve citizen services. As a first step they needed to empower social workers in the field with a mobile tool that would support on‑site decision-making, electronic signatures, and integration with their existing Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

Appian built a mobile case‑management solution that integrates with MS Dynamics to capture case data, documents, and eSignatures during client meetings, eliminating paperwork and duplicate CRM entries. Delivered within the 8‑week Appian Guarantee, on budget and in scope despite COVID‑19 and internal CRM constraints, the solution shortened turnaround times, reduced errors and administrative work, and improved trust between case workers and citizens.
