Ameren, a St. Louis–based power company serving 2.4 million electric and 900,000 natural gas customers across 64,000 square miles, needed to modernize the business processes behind its Design Change Notification (DCN) system. The goal was to move away from traditional programming to speed application changes, enable end-to-end tracking, simplify report generation, and standardize processes across plants to boost reliability and reduce costs.
