Case Study: Amadori achieves streamlined, automated operations and real-time visibility with Appian

A Appian Case Study

Preview of the Amadori Case Study

Amadori The leader in the Italian agriculture-food sector

Amadori is a leading Italian agri-food company with about 9,200 employees and roughly 30% of Italy’s poultry market, operating an integrated supply chain across farms, plants, feed mills and distribution centers. Faced with a fragmented technology landscape of multiple ERPs, legacy systems and manual, unstructured processes, Amadori struggled with poor visibility, high error rates, limited mobile access and slow application deployment, and sought to simplify work, improve data reliability and enable continuous process improvement.

Using Appian’s cloud low-code platform with BPM and RPA, Amadori built connected digital apps across procure-to-pay, customer credit, product development, contracts, asset/fleet and packaging-labels management. Outcomes include digitizing management of >100,000 invoices/year (25% automated), a customer credit app handling 3,500 requests in month one and cutting credit lead time from one week to 2.5 days, 150 product projects and 3,000 tasks managed in four months, ~500 contracts digitized annually, and streamlined handling of thousands of label and asset tasks — delivering stronger visibility, compliance, faster processes and improved collaboration.
