FINRA Achieves Devops Agility Securing Their AWS Environments

FINRA, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, needed a way to move faster in the cloud without sacrificing security as it expanded its AWS environment. Working with Appgate and its Software-Defined Perimeter product, AppGate SDP, FINRA set out to balance DevOps agility with tighter access controls for critical resources.

Appgate helped FINRA secure its public cloud by using AppGate SDP as part of a unified, frictionless access strategy, and FINRA added its own custom workflow app, Gatekeeper, to tightly manage temporary access. The result was a more secure AWS environment with improved DevOps agility, and FINRA even open sourced Gatekeeper so other organizations could benefit.
