Tide AS, a public transport company managing a large fleet of buses and drivers across the Nordics, faced significant inefficiencies. Their operations relied on entirely manual processes; drivers received printed schedules each morning, and all maintenance reporting was done with pen and paper. This led to a lack of real-time data, inflexible resource management, and no digital oversight. Appfarm developed a custom application to modernize Tide's operations, including modules for administration, drivers, and maintenance. Following a short development period and a training course, Tide's own developers were able to take over the project. The solution provided real-time schedule and route management for drivers and digital error reporting, resulting in substantial time and cost savings, modernized operations, and a greatly improved employee experience.
