New Habit iOS App Built on the Appery.io Platform With Ionic and Backend Services

New Habit, an iPhone app created by Christophe Bruchansky, needed a simple way to help users stay motivated and stick to personal goals without overwhelming them with too much information. To build it quickly and support both iOS and Android, the team used the Appery.io platform along with the Ionic framework for front-end and back-end development.

Using Appery.io, New Habit was built with JavaScript-based code, Push Notifications, a cloud database, and Server Code for backend logic. Appery.io also helped integrate the Aylien API for article sentiment analysis and the YouTube API for video content, resulting in a lightweight “virtual life coach” app that delivers three daily inspirations and aims to make the user experience more satisfying and engaging.
