A pioneer in visual computing with a two-decade history needed a simpler way to deliver mobile apps to thousands of employees using BYOD and company devices. IT was manually pushing apps on a case-by-case basis, and the company wanted a consumer-friendly, self-serve experience that wouldn’t require additional infrastructure or heavy device management.

After a three-month PoC the company selected Apperian’s cloud-based MAM for its simplicity and custom-branded app catalog, enabling employees to download apps on iOS and Android and business groups to host their own internal apps. The centralized store delivered fast deployment, easy updates and reporting; adoption was high, with nearly 5,000 employees downloading at least one app and administrative effort significantly reduced.
