TD Bank Group, a Toronto‑headquartered financial services firm with more than 80,000 employees and roughly 25 million customers (including over 11 million active online and mobile users), aimed to “increase digital fluency” by giving corporate employees and banking associates access to mobile productivity apps. The challenge was delivering a consistent, seamless app experience to thousands of globally dispersed users who used a mix of corporate and personal devices, some managed by MDM and many unmanaged.

TD chose Apperian to provide a custom‑branded private app store and administrator console where IT can upload apps and enforce security, management, and analytics policies. By routing employees to the TD Apps store instead of public app marketplaces, Apperian became the system of record for app administrators, made work apps easy to find and use, and enabled scalable distribution across BYOD and MDM‑managed devices—boosting employee efficiency and engagement.
