FutureNova, a UK medical-technology innovator, set out to create branded “Trust Appstores” after clinicians increasingly demanded mobile access to patient data. NHS trusts were hampered by slow, cumbersome computers-on-wheels and legacy PCs, needed secure BYOD and remote access across distributed sites, and required a safe sandbox for junior doctors to test and peer-review their own apps.
