Interactive Investor is a top UK investment and trading site with more than 1.5 million customers and a mobile-first user base that demands fast, seamless transactions. The company struggled to maintain that experience using New Relic, lacking the visibility and functionality needed to identify root causes of performance issues before they affected users.

After a successful proof-of-concept, Interactive Investor replaced New Relic with AppDynamics across its website and mobile apps. AppDynamics revealed hidden inefficiencies, improved transaction and monitoring efficiency (including third‑party and cloud costs), and strengthened performance testing so bugs are found earlier. The APM is now used by the 30‑member IT team and 70‑person contact centre, helping cut costs and deliver a more reliable user experience.
