Allconnect, a consumer-facing marketplace for home services, needed to move from a flat client to a dynamic client architecture that scaled from a handful of servers to about 40 without disrupting the user experience. The company required end-to-end visibility to monitor application performance, find bottlenecks, and ensure availability and scalability during the transition.

After evaluating three APM products, Allconnect deployed AppDynamics—quickly installing agents on Java servers to get flow maps, transaction snapshots, and baseline metrics. AppDynamics revealed a Java memory leak in testing (preventing costly downtime), enabled proactive capacity planning and database maintenance, and gave developers actionable performance insights, improving overall performance, availability, and scalability.
