How Xometry used in-app messaging to drive 500+ orders and move the revenue needle

Xometry, an AI-enabled marketplace for on-demand manufacturing, was losing some users before they completed purchases. The marketing team needed a way to re-engage buyers directly inside the product and promote timely offers without relying on engineering support, and they used Appcues for in-app messaging and targeted pop-ups.

Using Appcues, Xometry launched targeted coupon promotions and other in-product messages on high-intent pages, aimed at new and lapsed buyers. The campaign reached 18,000 users and drove 544 orders through the coupon code, generating meaningful revenue; Xometry continues to expand its use of Appcues for banners, alerts, webinars, and other marketing messages.
