Take is a Brazil-based conversational platform company whose BLiP product helps businesses build and manage chatbots across messaging channels. They faced a steep onboarding drop-off — only a 28.45% activation rate, with ~55% of users abandoning after creating a bot — and a long median time-to-value of 1.1 hours.
Using Appcues, Take launched a personalized multi-step onboarding flow (welcome modal, targeted tooltips for creating, naming, building, publishing and testing the bot, plus a follow-up slideout). Within two months activation rose to 63.74 (a 124% increase), dropout at the publish stage fell to under 11% and at testing to ~1%, and median time-to-value dropped from 1.1 hours to 6.8 minutes (9.7X faster). They now use Appcues for ongoing growth experiments and persona-driven experiences.
