Blip, the Brazil-based conversational platform company behind BLiP, needed help improving onboarding for its chatbot builder. Many users dropped off during the “create chatbot” and “test chatbot” stages, leaving the activation rate at just 28.45% and making it harder for users to quickly reach value.

Using Appcues, Blip implemented a personalized, multi-step onboarding flow with tooltips and guided walkthroughs to lead users through chatbot creation, publishing, and testing. With Appcues, dropout at the publish stage fell from 55% to under 11%, test-stage dropout dropped from 14% to almost 1%, overall funnel completion rose to 63.74% for a 124% increase, and time to value improved 9.7X from 1.1 hours to 6.8 minutes.
