Appointlet, a modern scheduling tool used by sales and marketing teams, faced a common SaaS challenge: getting new users to their activation moment within a 14-day free trial that required completing several sequential actions. They needed a way to guide users through those steps and reduce drop-off before the trial ended.

Appointlet implemented Appcues to deliver a six-item onboarding checklist of task-specific tutorials and used the Appcues–Zapier integration to pass user responses into Intercom for segmented, targeted email campaigns. Within three months the free-to-paid conversion rate climbed from 2.79% to 5.85% (a 210% increase), while the multichannel setup enabled more personalized, data-driven onboarding and follow-up.
