Mitsubishi Electric Cooling & Heating, the leading U.S. ductless HVAC brand selling through 1,500 distributors and over 25,000 contractors, faced fragmented communication across its multi-step channel: outdated technical/pricing materials, high print and distribution costs, poor feedback, and inconsistent brand messaging. Mitsubishi Electric built a suite of enterprise apps on Appcelerator Titanium (meNEWS, meDOCS, meVIEW and additional apps in development such as meQUOTE, meSCREEN and mePRESENT) and distributes them via a private store, meSync. Rapid prototyping (about one week) and targeted push notifications have driven a 100% boost in contractor productivity, engaged 500+ salespeople on meVIEW, projected roughly $30 million in incremental sales from a single app, and cut printing/distribution costs by millions while improving customer satisfaction.
