Adobe struggled with fragmented, inconsistent account planning: data lived in silos across in‑house systems, Excel and PowerPoint, account plans varied in format and quality, and reps lacked a central, mobile-editable view—undermining forecasting and effective allocation of executive and sales resources.
Adobe implemented GridBuddy inside Salesforce to create configurable, spreadsheet-like grids that relate opportunities, products, competitors, teams and strategies on a single account planning page (accessible via SharePoint and Salesforce1). The result: standardized, reliably entered account plans, better visibility through accurate reports and dashboards, mobile and desktop access for reps, and a solution that could be delivered and maintained quickly with little or no coding.
