Friends of Children Everywhere, the fundraising arm for Casa Bernabé in Guatemala, is a volunteer-led nonprofit that needed a better way to manage accounting, restricted gifts, and donor communications. Before Aplos, the team relied on disconnected tools like QuickBooks, Neon, and Constant Contact, which caused mismatched donation totals, heavy manual data entry, and time-consuming reconciliation.

Aplos provided nonprofit-specific fund accounting that made it easier to track designated gifts and streamline donation entry, while also working alongside Keela for donor management. As a result, Friends of Children Everywhere eliminated manual donation uploads, improved acknowledgment timing, and reduced discrepancies between accounting and CRM data, with the planned Aplos-Keela integration expected to automate reconciliation even further.
