Foursquare Helps 11 Districts Switch To Aplos

Foursquare Church, which supports 11 districts across multiple states, was struggling to make QuickBooks meet the financial and reporting needs of its churches. Cindy Towne, the national administrative specialist responsible for vendor decisions, found churches lacked accounting expertise and vendor support for donor-restricted funds, 990s and the denomination’s monthly reporting requirements.

After a 15-day trial, Foursquare adopted Aplos for its ease of use, a preloaded standardized Foursquare chart of accounts, and custom-built features (including FMCR and enhanced reporting) tailored to larger churches and districts. With responsive, nonprofit-trained support and a smooth rollout, the 11 districts — and hundreds of Foursquare churches — now use Aplos, improving reporting and administration and earning Cindy’s strong recommendation.
