Fostering Hope - Customer Case Study

Fostering Hope is a Jasper County, Missouri nonprofit founded after organizers discovered 520 children were in foster care while only 64 licensed homes existed and state reimbursements were very low. The group’s biggest challenges have been earning the trust of the Children’s Division and local agencies and securing steady financial support and staffing—everything is volunteer-run, Caring Closets have limited hours, and events are infrequent.

To meet those needs Fostering Hope runs two Caring Closets that provide free clothes, diapers, cribs, beds, toys and freezer meals, and hosts appreciation events like Back to School and Christmas of Hope (about $55 in gifts per child). Their consistent, free services have helped build trust with agencies, attracted local church support, and delivered tangible help to foster families, while they continue to seek ongoing funding to expand hours, staff, and programming.
