The SIS of Haut-Rhin, the fire and rescue service for its region, faced challenges in accurately assessing emergency situations from stressed callers, which hindered their ability to quickly identify the emergency level and deploy the correct reinforcements efficiently. Apizee's solution enabled operators to send a clickable link via SMS to a caller's smartphone, establishing a real-time video and audio call. This allowed for a live view of the emergency scene, remote picture capture, and the ability to connect with remote experts. The result was a better understanding of situations, allowing for better-adapted resources from the start and significant time savings in sending reinforcements, as proven in a real incident where the solution helped quickly reinforce resources for a major fire.
