Cloud M builds cloud-based native mobile apps for safety and emergency response, including Alerter and Blerter. As its API grew to more than 400 endpoints and 600 models and the company expanded from iOS and mobile web to Android, desktop, and other platforms, it needed a faster way to support more languages and partners without adding significant engineering effort.

Cloud M trialed APIMatic’s automated SDK creation service to generate native language SDKs from its API descriptions. Within a few weeks, a large portion of the API had been converted into SDKs, and the generated code was tested for Objective-C, Java for Android, and Java for Web; the process is now being added to continuous integration to reduce the work needed for API changes and new features.
