APIMATIC’s Code Generation Speeds Up the NZOR’s Application Development Cycle

Landcare Research needed a way to provide access to NZOR, the New Zealand Organisms Register, in a consistent format and support faster application development for participants in Nature Hack 2015. The organization wanted developers to be able to use biodiversity data from its publicly accessible collections more easily across different programming languages.

APIMatic generated SDKs for the NZOR API in Java, Objective-C, C#, PHP, Python, Ruby, and AngularJS. According to Landcare Research, this simplified SDK creation, helped developers get started faster, and saved time and resources by speeding up the application development cycle. The SDKs were also made publicly available via SDKS.IO to broaden access to the data.
