DxTerity, a patient-centric genomics company focused on autoimmune disease, needed a way to unify complex clinical, EHR, CDISC, and genomic data so it could build a scalable clinical-genomics platform. Working with Apigee and Pluto7, DxTerity faced the challenge of cleaning, normalizing, and securing terabyte-scale data while speeding up diagnostic and therapeutic development.

Apigee helped enable a streamlined, integrated data ingestion and harmonization approach that standardized data into a FHIR-based model and connected it to analytics workflows. The solution improved data latency nearly sixfold and accelerated the genomic sequencing pipeline by 100-fold, while also supporting HIPAA and GDPR compliance and allowing DxTerity to move from months-long analytics cycles to hours.
