Turns to Apigee to manage its API strategy and deliver digital transformation

Military Bank, a major Vietnamese commercial bank, needed a better way to support its digital transformation and partner ecosystem. Its legacy ESB-based API approach made it hard to monitor APIs, manage usage, and scale integrations, so the bank turned to Apigee API Platform from Google Cloud to build a more scalable API strategy.

With Apigee, Military Bank implemented a secure, governed API program that lets partners access banking services through APIs, while also improving design, analysis, and monitoring of traffic and revenue. Apigee helped the bank cut partner integration time by up to 50%, expose 50 APIs, and launch two applications, with plans to move 200 APIs and 20 applications to the platform.
