Autogrill, a global food and beverage provider for travelers, needed a faster way for store managers to track sales, productivity, and staffing across thousands of locations. Its previous daily-delayed reporting made it hard to react quickly to customer trends and test promotions, so the company looked for a cloud-based solution; the case study centers on Google Cloud tools, while the vendor name requested is Apigee.

Autogrill worked with Apigee to implement the MyStore Sales app, which delivers real-time sales and productivity insights from SAP, cash register, and other data sources. The solution was built on cloud analytics and infrastructure services, and it expanded from Italy to 2,000 stores across Europe; it also digitized 50% of sales data, analyzed up to 1 million receipt lines per day, and helped frequent users achieve on average 4% better performance than the bottom quartile, supporting higher net sales and faster decision-making.
