With Apigee, Urban Science implemented real-time API monitoring, security controls, and a hosted self-service developer portal for access authorization, analytics, and auditing. The result was strong operational visibility, prevention of outages, protection for 650 APIs and more than 11.5 million monthly transactions, and customer onboarding in as little as seven minutes instead of two to three weeks—helping Urban Science win new business faster.
