Valora, a European convenience and foodservice group with more than 2,800 outlets, needed a better way to coordinate sales communication and collaboration across its retail network. After using seven separate apps that created silos and inconsistent processes, Valora turned to Apigee and Google Cloud Platform, along with Google Workspace, to build a single, scalable platform for its points of sale.

Apigee helped deliver a web-based solution that standardized communications using structured templates, secure file storage, and centralized access management. The new platform, rolled out as VAPOS, consolidated seven applications into one harmonized system and was introduced to 1,100 Swiss outlets in its first phase, reducing disruption, improving efficiency, and lowering IT operating and maintenance costs.
