Global Energy Company, a multinational energy industry provider with about 50,000 employees across 70 countries, wanted to verify that suppliers were complying with the contract terms its buyers had negotiated. The company turned to apexanalytix for a contract compliance audit to uncover unauthorized billings, pricing errors, and missed discounts.

apexanalytix auditors reviewed 16 suppliers with more than $5 million in annual disbursements each, examining three years of data for variances and recovery opportunities. The project identified about $2 million in disbursement overages recovered from eight suppliers so far, while also helping Global Energy Company pinpoint root causes, strengthen contract language and processes, and expand the audit program to additional suppliers.
