Catrina Experience, a hospitality brand with four distinct property types — resort, hotel, lodge, and hostel — needed a more flexible technology stack than its legacy PMS could provide. The company struggled with poor connectivity to third-party applications and wanted a system that could support its diverse operations across accommodation, restaurants, bars, and shops.

apaleo, its open property management system (PMS), was implemented to connect and automate the full operation. With apaleo, Catrina Experience integrated tools such as Code2Order, Adyen, Salto, and a customized booking engine, while also linking nine POS terminals for automated payments. The result was a simpler, more connected setup that streamlined check-in/check-out, guest communication, and outlet operations across all properties.
