Case Study: Zoek achieves smarter job matching with Apadmi

Using machine learning to challenge the job-search marketplace

Zoek wanted to create a smarter recruitment portal that could help candidates and recruiters find the best possible match, especially on mobile, where many people now search for jobs. Apadmi worked with Zoek to build the Zoek Job Search app for iOS and Android, using machine learning and mobile technology to improve the job-hunting experience.

Apadmi implemented an app that learns a user’s skills, job history and preferences, then recommends relevant roles and sends push notifications when matching jobs are added. The solution also stores key documents like CVs and cover letters and uses swipe-based browsing for quick role discovery. The results included more than 68,000 downloads in the first 8 weeks, over 40,000 daily job updates, more than 250,000 jobs listed, and over 2 million job searches since launch.
