Aviva, one of the world’s largest insurance groups, needed a better way to support customers who had just been involved in a car accident and had to quickly capture the key claims details at the scene. Apadmi worked with Aviva’s design agency on the Aviva MyClaims app, a mobile solution built to simplify the claims process and reduce stress for customers in difficult moments.
Apadmi developed an app that let users record accident details, upload photos, audio, and video, use GPS to note their location, and contact Aviva, emergency services, or family with a few taps, all through a secure encrypted server. The result was a more intuitive, mobile-friendly claims experience that reduced the need for web forms and improved customer experience; Aviva handles more than 300,000 car insurance claims a year.
