Argos partnered with Apadmi to create the My Argos Card app, a mobile service for customers to manage their account, credit limits, and payments. The challenge was to increase engagement and loyalty while reducing calls to busy customer service centres and providing better data insights for the business.
Apadmi delivered end-to-end consultancy, UX/UI design, development, testing, and launch of the iOS and Android app, including middleware to integrate with Argos’ legacy financial systems. The result was 544,000+ downloads in the first year, over 500,000 active monthly users, a 66% increase in transactional value over six months, a 72% reduction in fraudulent activity, and 30,000–40,000 new registrations per month.
