Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB), the city's main public transport operator, deployed digital signage across vehicles and stations to deliver real-time travel information, news and advertising. Their challenge was keeping content up to date across a widespread, mixed network of stationary and moving locations, requiring reliable, timely updates to the right displays.

TMB implemented a centrally managed MouTV system to push real-time content over LAN, Wi‑Fi or 3.5G to the appropriate screens, using compact, semi‑industrial AOPEN media players for 24/7 reliability and easy installation. The rollout enabled single‑location monitoring, improved passenger satisfaction and generated new advertising revenue through a partnership with JCDecaux.
