A AOpen Case Study
The Museum of Contemporary Art Barcelona (MACBA) wanted to modernize its visitor experience by replacing static signage with dynamic, high-resolution multimedia displays that could deliver up-to-date information, reduce queues at the entrance and strengthen the museum’s visual identity. The challenge included driving a synchronized 6-screen video wall with unusually high total resolution, enabling remote content updates and scheduling, and simplifying management across multiple displays.
Euroservicios deployed AOPEN Digital Engine media players running DISE software to power information screens at the entrance and a 6-screen video wall, with centralized servers and two control stations for content creation, scheduling and hardware control. The installation enabled real-time updates, remote power and playback management, reporting and synchronized high-resolution playback; result: improved museum image, positive visitor feedback, reduced queues, easier operations and increased sales.
