Garmin, a market leader in navigation and communications systems, wanted an innovative way to promote its touch‑screen navigators and draw more foot traffic to its Moscow store while staying true to its consumer‑friendly, tech‑led brand. The challenge was to communicate product features and build brand awareness through an engaging retail experience that mimicked the in‑car interface.

Garmin installed an interactive digital‑signage solution in the Eurocenter store window combining a Philips BDL4225 LCD, transparent touch‑foil and an AOPEN DE7000 (advised by integrator Adissy) so passersby can operate the display from outside. The touchscreen demo replicates the navigator UI, strengthening Garmin’s tech image, attracting visitors, increasing brand awareness and giving shoppers a hands‑on product experience that supports sales.
