A AODocs Case Study
Veolia Water Technologies faced fragmented document management across dozens of offices worldwide, with each location using different systems and network drives. After moving to the Google stack, VWT needed a centralized content services platform to eliminate information silos and standardize document control; following evaluations, the company selected AODocs to integrate with Google Workplace and provide a unified blueprint for managing engineering and procurement documentation.
AODocs was deployed across VWT’s global network for about 1,500 employees and configured with document classes and metadata to manage high-volume transmittals—often hundreds of thousands of files per project—while providing audit trails, reviewer/approval validation, and secure external sharing via Google accounts. The AODocs implementation improved collaboration, drove Google Workplace adoption, delivered reliable performance with no technical issues, and enabled VWT to begin migrating SharePoint content and expand the platform into HR, legal, and finance.
