Portland Community College, the largest post-secondary institution in Oregon serving nearly 70,000 students, faced a siloed grants process where content was scattered across campuses and stored in individual Google accounts, making sharing and collaboration difficult. To standardize grant management and better manage complex workflows, the Grants Office evaluated document management options and selected AODocs for its tight integration with Google Drive and alignment with PCC’s IT plans.
AODocs was implemented in early 2019 to connect grant documents, folders, workflows, and the college’s existing database, replacing the previous mix of internal drives and Gmail-based manual processes. The AODocs solution delivered immediate benefits: streamlined, automated workflows that eliminated manual saving from email, easier sharing and collaboration via Google integration, improved organization, and measurable time savings that let staff work more efficiently and faster.
