Pinnacol Assurance Selects AODocs to Modernize Claim Management

Pinnacol Assurance, Colorado’s largest workers’ compensation carrier, was struggling to manage thousands of annual claims across a brittle mix of systems—Oracle metadata, Linux file shares, Box, ImageSilo and FlexApps—resulting in slow search, version creep, duplicate content, and high operational overhead (the equivalent of nearly two full‑time people). Needing a modern, cloud‑based platform that fit its move to Google Workspace and integration with Salesforce, Pinnacol selected the AODocs Content Services Platform to replace its legacy content stack.

AODocs was deployed as Pinnacol’s centralized claims content hub, integrated with Google Drive and Salesforce via open APIs and used by hundreds of employees to manage documentation, workflows and an eDiscovery library. The AODocs solution delivered layered security (including expiring links), built‑in version control and de‑duplication, configurable retention and archiving, and reduced storage, disaster‑recovery and operational support costs; Pinnacol is already reducing the staff needed to support legacy systems and plans to sunset several legacy applications, including Box.
