Asset Consulting, working with a dairy yogurt business in Italy (2020), needed to assess full Scope 1–3 carbon footprints and build a decarbonization strategy that also accounted for financial performance and operational constraints like shelf life. To meet these objectives they used anyLogistix’s digital twin and simulation capabilities to run detailed supply‑chain scenarios and trade‑off optimizations across emissions and profitability.

anyLogistix modelled upstream, core and downstream processes, enabled scenario generation and shelf‑life tracking, and optimized alternatives over time. Over a five‑year horizon the high‑ambition scenario delivered measurable gains: EBITDA rose from €222.3M to €233.6M (+5.1%), total supply‑chain CO2eq fell from 196,489 t to 174,116 t (−11.4%), plastic use dropped ~80.6% (3,569 t → 692 t), expired product declined −38.2% (8,450 t → 5,224 t), and total supply‑chain costs fell −7.3% (€149.9M → €138.9M), demonstrating the impact of anyLogistix’s approach.
